We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Treasury to join our team. This role is located in Frankfurt, Germany. The Balance Sheet Management team is responsible for ensuring that the bank maintains a robust capital, liquidity and balance sheet position while meeting evolving regulatory expectations. The team acts as a central coordination point between Risk, Finance, Regulatory Affairs and Technology functions, delivering critical regulatory submissions such as ICAAP and ILAAP, capital planning analyses and strategic transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:The role is responsible for supporting the development, coordination and enhancement of regulatory capital stress testing frameworks, ICAAP processes and technology-driven transformation initiatives.Support the annual, quarterly and monthly ICAAP process and associated governance activities, including capital planning covering base and stressed scenarios.Support regulatory exercises including EBA, ECB and other supervisory stress testing programs.Develop and maintain capital stress testing methodologies covering credit, market, operational and liquidity related impacts.Analyze stress testing results and translate findings into actionable management insights.Support regulatory reviews related to ICAAP, stress testing and capital management.Prepare senior management updates on capital adequacy, vulnerabilities and emerging regulatory expectations.Contribute to strategic technology initiatives supporting treasury and capital management functions.Drive automation and overall enhancement of stress testing, forecasting, management information and regulatory reporting processes.Partner with Technology and Data teams to enhance data quality, lineage and controls.Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through advanced analytics, workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions.Establish and maintain scalable reporting and dashboard solutions for senior management.Enhance analytical capabilities supporting stress testing and capital forecasting.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:5+ years of experience in Treasury, Capital Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Finance within the banking or financial services sector.Strong knowledge of ICAAP, Capital Planning, Regulatory Stress Testing, Pillar 1 & Pillar 2 requirements, Recovery & Resolution Planning, and BCBS239.Solid understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and techniques; experience with stress testing models is an advantage.Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously while meeting demanding deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; knowledge of Python is a plus.High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated team player who can work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Preferred Qualification Experience in regulatory stress testing and capital planning programs.Exposure to recovery and resolution planning activities.Knowledge of emerging regulatory developments and banking industry best practices.Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.At BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
